Description
The CSRB board is a combined POTS and ADSL2+ service board that has 32 channels and a built-in 600 ohm impedance splitter
This is the CSRB function
- The broadband services are transmitted to the broadband control board through the broadband bus, and the broadband control board transmits the services upstream to the IP network
- The narrowband services are transmitted to the narrowband control board through the HW bus, and the narrowband control board transmits the services upstream to the PSTN network
- Both the CSRB board support the external ringing, also called the unbalanced ringing mode
- The broadband and narrowband line capture tests are implemented by the transfer board. The narrowband service supports the loop-line capture test
The CSRB board resides in slots 6-35 of the HABA shelf, slots 6-17 of the HABC or HABD shelf, slots 18-35 of the HABF shelf, and slots 6-11 of the HABL shelf
The CSRB board provides the broadband and narrowband service processing functions to implement 32 channels of ADSL2+ and POTS services. The basic working principles of the CSRB board are as follows
- The broadband service processing includes the following
- The broadband service control module controls and manages the broadband services
- The bus conversion module performs the conversion between the broadband bus of the backplane and the broadband bus of the board
- The digital processing module, the analog front-end module, and the line amplifier module implement the coding/decoding, analog-digital conversion, and line driving for the ADSL2+ service. The upstream port is connected to the broadband bus of the backplane
- The narrowband service processing includes the following
- The narrowband service control module controls and manages the narrowband services
- The codec module and the line interface module implement the coding/decoding, analog-digital conversion, and 2/4-wire conversion for the narrowband voice service. The upstream port is connected to the narrowband bus of the backplane
- The splitter module couples broadband and narrowband subscriber lines
