Line terminal model 500 OSN is a new generation of optical transmission equipment of Huawei company, which acts as a fiber optic and Ethernet transmitter. This terminal line is capable of supporting TDM, providing STM-1 / STM-4 optical interface, and having high integrity, easy and free maintenance, and energy saving features of this model. The OSN500 terminal line is an advanced SDH multiplexer that has 3 slots and its interfaces can be FE/GE Ethernet interface, STM-1/4 type SDH interface, E1/E3 and T1/T3 type PDH interface and CES mentioned the type of ATM/IMA E1 and STM-1. This device is manufactured with dimensions of 220442*44 mm and has the ability to support ITU-T standards and is able to work with all other SDH systems
